Although creating a smooth frontline got highest priority, there are of course exceptions, where you can bent this rule. This exceptions are based on strategic important bases such as Eisa Tech Plant on Esamir – the only tech plant on the continent, providing Main Battle Tanks (MBT) outside of the warpgate, to only for 1 faction. Eisa Tech plant is unique and the strongest example for such a case – it should be defended under nearly all circumstances. The only reasons to drop Eisa tech plant can be the following:
– Completely surrounded by enemy territory – Enemies are capping territories next to your warpgate – Alert is going on and you can be more helpful outside of the tech plant
Similar, but not directly comparable examples for such exceptions are Indar Excavation Site, Crimson Bluff Tower or The Crown at Indar, Nason’s Defiance on Hossin or The Bastion on Amerish, just to name a few. In the end it always depend on the population and current map situation or ongoing events like alerts.
