The promotion of a member or assignment of a special role does strongly depend on the behaviour, activity and the initiative of the person. If you join the Community and are barely online and do not show any kind of contribution towards the team, you should not be surprised if you stay a recruit for many months.
If you regularly join our Outfit Ops on weekends in Team Speak and act as a vital part of the team, you will be integrated in the Core team within a few months and go fast through the chain of promotions.
Support & Organise
Some people make an extra effort in the community and apply for special roles or activities or simply support the community with organisational or administrative help, e.g. work on the website or writing an Outfit Ops summary, which will lead to even faster promotions and integration in the core team.
Officers can also make proposals for promotions of members based on in-game observations and feedback.
Every rank or role brings special benefits for a person and moves her or him closer and closer towards being a core member of the community.
Recruits do not have any special permissions or rights and can be removed fast and easily from the community, if the leadership observes real and repeated rule violations (i.e. racist, homophobic, disrespectful behaviour, or simply a lack of team-focussed play) . They just joined the community and have to prove their reliability and sustainable membership first.
The Recruit Evaluation period is 3 months. A recruit that is inactive for 1 month, will be kicked automatically, if the leadership wasn’t informed.
Privates have proven their interest and willingness to be part of our community and can vote for officer elections. They are not under a “recruit observation” anymore and can be inactive for 2 months, even if the leadership has not received any notification.
Promotion Evaluation period from Private to Veteran is 3 months.
Veterans are part of the community core team. They help with the onboarding of new members, can vote in the officer election and also raise their hands as an officer candidate every 6 months. They can stay inactive for 3 months, without any consequences even if they haven’t informed anybody about their absence.

It should be the goal of every member to be part of the core team and to receive the needed promotions. There are not many online communities with such comprehensive and open democratic procedures and we love to see how people step up for their team and run as an officer candidate during the election to put their own, individual note to the community and form and lead the future of this international community.
