The following information has been prepared to explain the responsibilities and expectations of new members to ZE7A.

Our slogan is: ZE7AS FIRST!

Before we move on to more detailed guidelines for our outfit, there are some main rules you should keep in mind at all times:

1 – Politeness

We are a very polite, constructive and intelligent outfit. We ignore offensive language in /YELL chat, and never send hate tells even if directly offended. If you offend someone, be sure that they will contact our high command.

2 – Follow Orders

If you join a squad, it is your responsibility to listen to all orders the leader is giving out, regardless of who that leader is. ZE7A demands obedience in-game. Carrying ZE7A’s tag holds a great deal of expectation in regards to cooperation, and we want to keep it that way!

3 – Unfit Gameplay

Cheating, stat padding, bug abuse, team killing and other things that fall within the realm of unfit game play are forbidden, and will lead to an immediate kick from the outfit!

4 – Your Obligations

There is no obligation to attend every serious outfit squad, but there should be some effort on your part to attend the majority of them. If you are only interested in farming, or do not enjoy intense team play, our outfit might not be right for you.

5 – Objectives

We care very little about K/D, XP points and other statistics – our main objective is to be as effective as possible in-game and on the map.

6 – Your Back = My Back

ZE7A FIRST! Always and everywhere! Stick to the team and cover each other’s backs – on the battlefield and in regards to political issues.

The following points will explain some of our outfit mechanisms to you and hopefully answer most of your questions.

1 – How to get promoted

Your promotion will heavily depend on your behavior and activity. A good and nice player, participating in events and outfit ops and showing a good amount of teamwork, will always get a fast promotion. If you successfully participate in a Community event like Server Smash or Battle League, you will automatically be promoted by 1 rank.

No Email = No Promotion. So please provide it as soon as you can.

The Officer (General) rank, is the highest rank you can achieve in ZE7A. They are the legitimate voice of our group and are able to give direct outfit orders if needed. They can invite people to the team and have a strong voice, if decisions need to be made in our high command, we turn to them.

Ranks in ZE7A:

Recruit
Private
Veteran
Leader of the Month
Deputy Officer
Officer
2nd In Command
Outfit Leader

Further information can be found on the Promotions page.

2 – Officer Voting

Democratic Election.

Three officers will be elected from all non-recruit Outfit members and serve during a 6 month term. Only Veteran members can raise their hands for the officer post for the election. Recruit members cannot vote and are excluded from this process.

You can find a visualization of the process here:

As you can see, the officers will be elected during a full democratic process and express the opinion of the main team, organize Outfit related issues, participate in Server briefings/meetings as outfit representatives and run outfit Operations.

3 – Outfit Operations

We have our Outfit Ops once per week at a fixed time. During the Ops, we all will meet in our Team Speak and have a detailed briefing about events and outfit issues. You can also officially express all kind of complaints or ideas during this meeting. After 20-30 minutes of briefing, we will switch to in-game and start an outfit only platoon to have 1-2 hours of intense and heavy team play.

We always wear our Outfit Camo + Outfit Decal during our Ops time, if available.

4 – Reaction to orders

Our greatest strength is our speed. This is heavily related to your reaction time regarding orders. If your squad leader is asking you for something, you should always try to fulfill their wish as quickly and efficiently as possible. We can only be successful if we work as a strong team and as an effective Unit.

5 – Gameplay deviation

New players often make the mistake of sticking to one class for the majority of the time. This lack of diversity is definitely not in your own interest and you should try to rotate between classes at the beginning to get a feeling and understanding for each class. Once you are experienced enough, you can always choose the class which is currently required by the situation. The most effective players are those who take initiative and do what needs to be done!

It is also absolutely important to handle aircraft and vehicles, especially Galaxies and Sunderers.

6 – Leading Squads or Platoons

During the Ops, we all will meet in our Team Speak and have a detailed briefing about events and outfit issues. You can also officially express all kind of complaints or ideas during this meeting. Immediately after the briefing, we will switch to in-game and start a platoon to have 1-2 hours of intense and heavy team play.

7 – Inactivity

Nobody will be kicked in ZE7A for inactivity if the High Command was informed in advance. If you do not tell us about your future inactivity, you will be removed from the team after the following time limits:

Recruits: 1 month

Privates: 2 months

Veterans: 3 months

8 – Take the initiative!

Try to be the changing factor, wherever you appear! Take the initiative! If you see a broken terminal, switch to Engineer and repair it. If you see a damaged vehicle – repair it! If you think the area needs more anti Air – take your burster max or skyguard! If you think the attack could need an additional Sunderer – spawn back and bring one! If you think that the enemy Sunderer should get destroyed – spawn a tank and hunt it! In general: Do what the situation requires and don’t expect that others will do it! Be the storm on the battlefield!
